Room by Room Navigation and Feature Categories
HomePersonalizer™ simulates walking through a standing model with a room by room web experience. Not only rooms, users can click into the features within a room and make personalization selections for each feature (not shown in diagram). This experience does not include the Feature Categories independently from the rooms they are contained in. That is, the user cannot browse through the right side of the diagram.
This walk-through implements the deep product engagement marketing strategy which is both beneficial and entertaining. However, the task of selecting flooring, for example, for each room separately can be difficult and costly. HomePersonalizer™ addresses this situation with Housewide Packages.
Housewide Packages based on Feature Categories
The Housewide side of this diagram starts with the flooring and plumbing package categories. The Estate and the Economy packages are both in the flooring category and the Estate package contains tile and hardwood. The curved lines show the application of the Estate package to the rooms.
After the Estate package is applied, the user can still upgrade on a room by room basis, optionally changing colors and/or materials. HomePersonalizer™ calculates and applies upgrade credits in real time for these situations.
Housewide Packages Selected Features
Typically the user applies a Housewide Package and then walks through the home again to see each room’s Housewide Package component (flooring for instance) in the context of that room. This activity provides another tour through the rooms to consider everything on the way, and possibly decide to upgrade a room even further. The result is that the buyer gets more assured about her personalization selections as she makes your house into her home.
